At the end of 2026-Q2, 414'262 foreign cross-border commuters (G permit) worked in Switzerland, 35.6% of them women. Geneva employs the most with 118'067, followed by Ticino (79'121) and Vaud (46'496). 58.4% live in France, 22.1% in Italy, 16.3% in Germany. Measured against all jobs in 2024: 7.2% nationwide, 31.5% in Ticino.
